"Worth While"

If love were easy then it would

not be worth while,

And we would not appreciate how much

it makes our hearts smile;

As the struggle to find love and

hold it teaches us that we must

Worship the moments

we enjoy its touch;

Because once its gone all that

remains is its pain,

Until time fills the void and your

heart finds love again,

Because if love were easy then it would

not be worth while,

For as the seasons passed it would

surely grow out of style,

So as much as each of us hopes

one day love will find us

we know that its scarcity is

why we treasure it so much.
